You know Why I am calling this cake a healthy cake recipe because the secret is we are using wheat flour instead of whole wheat flour. It is equally tasty, I can bet on it.


Wheat flour                        1 cup

Baking soda                        ½ tsp

Choco powder                  5 tsp

Castor sugar                       1 cup

Salted Butter                      5tsp (If not using salted butter add 1/2 tsp salt to it)

Water                                1 cup

Lemon juice                       1 tsp

Vanilla essence                  1tsp


Add wheat flour, baking soda, choco powder  to a mixing bowl and sieve it to avoid lumps from the dry ingrediants. Then add sugar and mix well.

Make a halow in middle of dry ingrediants and add Water, butter, vanilla essence and lemon juice.

Mix well and make sure dry and wet ingrediants mix together very well but do not over do it.

Once mixed transfer it to a greased microwave safe utensil and bake for about 7 – 8 min. Check after  7 minutes. To check insert a knife or a toothpick in middle of the cake, if comes out clean it means job done successfully if cake sticks on toothpick then keep for some more time. When done let it cool for about 10 min then only demold the cake otherwise it can break.


Serve it any time your tummy feel like eating it……
