This winter I came across one of my now favorite Chutney which is Gurkha Chutney.But let me tell you I am now from Nepal. Very simple with basic ingredients and quick. Indeed its a beautiful blend of spices. It taste great and I am sure you will love it too. I loved it with Parathas. Do try it.


Boiled Potato 2 small
Onion 1 small
tomato 1 medium
coriander leaves 1 small bowl full
Giner 1 small piece
Garlic 4-5 no.
tamarind pulp 2 sp or lemon juice.
Til 1 sp
Salt to taste
Green chilli 2 no.
Coriander powder 1/2tsp
Jeera powder 1/2tsp
Chaat masala 1/2 tsp (optional)


Chop potato, tomato and onion into small pieces.

Dry roast til.Take a blending jar and put all ingrediants listed above in it.

Its time to blend them to a smooth paste using 2-3 spoon water if required.
and we are done.

Serve it with sandwhiches, parathas or even with Dal and rice. I love it with all.
