Milk ½ cup
Vinegar 1tsp
Wheat Flour 1 cup
Baking powder 1tsp
Baking soda 1 tsp
Salt ¼ tsp
Jaggery 2/3 cup
Oil ½ cup
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
All the ingrediants should be at room temperature. Preheat oven at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes.


Step 1: In a bowl take milk and add vinegar to it and let it curddle.

Step 2: Sieve Flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

Step 3: In a bowl wisk together butter and jaggery. Now add vanilla essence , curddled milk and mix. Add
flour slowly.

Step 4: Bake for 30 minutes. Do give it a check with a tooth pick. Insert the tooth pick in the cup cake
if it comes out clean you are done but if its wet you may need to bake it for few more minutes.

After done do give it a rest to cool down. Hot cup cakes will break if you try to work with them so let it rest.


You may use some design on top of the cup cakes like I have made with castor sugar.
